Reflections after first day in Charleston

Although still feeling mentally drained, I am looking forward to the second day of globaloria tomorrow.  Actually, some things seem to be making a little more sense.  The time I have spent on the sites tonight have been beneficial and addictive.  Honestly, I seemed to lose track of the time I spent on the computer, which is not a bad thing!  I feel like I need more confidence and comfort with attempting to move around on the sites.  I enjoyed reading some relative blogs.  I particularly liked  http://emilysglobaloria.blogspot.com/ and  http://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=4774051683518953958
I am thoroughly convinced that globaloria is a tremendous opportunity for students to learn various skills and apply them in real world situations.  I am still in awe of the work so many students are willing to perform in a successful manner.  The  benefits and connections applicable for students seem unlimited!  The growing pains and stress of learning the rules and regulations seem to be minimal compared to the success it provides.

  1. I really wish the state would agree to incorporate the program somewhere in curriculum for all students. It is a great program.
